Why I Became An Endodontist
Dr. Awadi’s journey into endodontics began with a passion for helping people maintain their oral health. After practicing general dentistry for seven years in Boston, he realized his true calling was in endodontics, where he could focus on saving teeth and alleviating pain. The intricate nature of root canal treatments and the opportunity to make a significant impact on his patients’ lives drew him to this specialized field.
My Educational Background
Dr. Awadi earned his undergraduate degree from Baghdad University, which laid the foundation for his career in dentistry. He then pursued his DMD and completed his Endodontic residency at Boston University. Throughout his education, he has been an active member of the Massachusetts Dental Society (MDS) and the American Association of Endodontists (AAE), continually seeking to expand his knowledge and skills.
My Life Outside the Office
When Dr. Awadi isn’t providing exceptional endodontic care, he enjoys watching sports, especially soccer, and spending quality time with his friends and family. He loves staying active through biking and walking, and he has a dream of traveling to all seven continents. If he could choose a superpower, it would be flying, so he could see even more of the world.
As a coffee enthusiast, Dr. Awadi starts his day with a cup of Turkish coffee, hold the sugar, and add a touch of cardamom. His favorite mantra is “Tomorrow is another day,” which reminds him to stay positive and look forward to new opportunities.
